Marmaduke 9/21/09Because there is absolutely no way that he could possibly get out of bed. Marmaduke may be an over-sized dog, but he doesn't weigh that much. Unless Owner-Man is incredibly weak.
I'm guessing this is the first time it happened to Owner-man, otherwise he would have taken preventive measures so Marmaduke won't invade their private space... Or, he's letting Marmaduke be his excuse because he's lazy to go to work.
